CRAIG E. COOMBS, Attorney

 

Craig graduated with honors in finance from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puget Sound/Seattle University.

 

Craig has been practicing law for over 40 years and is admitted to the bar associations in the States of Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and Idaho.  He opened his own firm, Coombs Law Firm PLLC, in 2003. Craig regularly represents individuals with respect to their advance care and estate planning needs, individuals and agencies serving as fiduciaries (e.g., Trustees, Personal Representatives, Attorneys in Fact, Guardians), and parties to a guardianship proceedings. He also represents litigants in contested matters, and he is regularly designated by the King County Superior Court to serve as a court-appointed fiduciary and as a Guardian ad Litem for incapacitated or vulnerable persons.

 

Craig has also chaired, presented, and participated in numerous King County Bar Association Continuing Legal Education programs, including the Mandatory Guardianship Guardian ad Litem Training and Minor Settlements.

CRESEY STEWART MAHER, Of Counsel

 

Cresey has been a lawyer since 1994 assisting clients in the areas of Civil Practice, Guardianship, Probate, and Commercial Transactions. She is admitted to the Washington State Bar.

 

Cresey has also been part of the King County Guardian ad Litem Registries since 2000, and has had over 115 appointments as a Title 11 - Guardianship GAL, Probate GAL, Litigation GAL and Minor Settlement GAL. She attended the University of Puget Sound/Seattle University School of Law on a merit scholarship and graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor.

 

Cresey holds an A.B. in mathematics from Occidental College, where she graduated cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Mu Epsilon, Mortar Board and other academic societies.

 

Cresey also ran track and cross country at Occidental and she continues to run today, competing in road races ranging from 5ks to half marathons.

 

DANIELLE U. McKNIGHT, Office Manager/Paralegal

 

Danielle is an asset to our firm, holding over 30 years of work experience within the legal profession, emphasizing guardianships, trusts, probate, and estate planning. She has been with our firm since 2005 and truly enjoys her career and interacting with clients.
